Opinions – we all got 'em. This is a chance to put down the dice, turn away from the board and settle one of the most burning questions in modern board gaming: what is the worst game in the world?
Is it a random and colourless family favourite?
Is it a cranky and unwieldy wargame?
is it a bloodless and abstract Euro-game?
Justify Your Opinion is a chance to propose and argue for your candidate, before we put it to the audience to decide. And it's open to anyone. And there will be a prize!
The rules in brief:
- Every speaker has up to 5 minutes to nominate their choice for the worst game and explain why.
- Hyperbole, unsubstantiated assertions, leaps in logic, sarcasm and vitriol are expected. Reasoned and logical arguments are welcome too.
- After all speakers have had their say, a winner is determined by popular acclaim.
- Speakers should preferably volunteer before the event but can join during it. Express your interest by emailing boardgaming@nineworlds.co.uk
