Food & Drink

Staff at the Novotel have been working hard to bring you the best value and quality convention food and drinks:

  • Black and White Cloakroom Coffee Bar will be open from 9am until 4pm Friday, Saturday and Sunday, selling hot and cold drinks and snacks to take away.
  • Champagne Bar will be open from from midday until 2am on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, providing snacks, light meals and a full bar service.
  • The Cognac Bar is a small bar in the convention social space. This will open on Thursday evening and then from after breakfast until late. Hot drinks, snacks, cold food and a selection of soft and alcoholic drinks.
  • Aroma Restaurant is one of the main hotel restaurants, and has a convention rate buffet for lunch and dinner.
  • Lounge Bar will be open all day, and offers a range of food and drink options at standard hotel rates.
  • Artisan Grill will be open for lunch and dinner services serving an a la carte menu.

All the food and drink outlets are on the first floor.

We also have information about dietary requirements and allergies.
We have attempted to label menus as much as possible, however it is safe to assume that single-item dishes (fresh fruit and veg etc) contain only that item.
If you are not sure about a dish, please ask a server for advice - there is a good range of things that are (or can be made) suitable for a variety of dietary restrictions if needed.

There will be water coolers set up throughout the convention spaces, with disposable cups or you can use them to fill water bottles if you have one with you.

As a condition of contract, the hotel require attendees to not consume food or drink brought from off-site, unless there is a genuine need to do so for e.g. medical or other valid reasons. We can if necessary advocate on your behalf, but bear in mind that this is their building and all hotels we know of have similar rules. This includes meeting rooms, breakout areas, public areas of the hotel, and the decking outside the hotel, and applies to attendees, staff and vendors. We have worked very hard, with co-operation from the venue, to provide you with a variety of options and price points for food and drink. Please help us by keeping this rule. The hotel can charge us corkage on food and drink brought in from outside. Of course we understand that you may want or need to eat offsite during the weekend. Luckily, Hammersmith is well provided with food outlets of every description.

Please note food & drink items will be served in disposable containers/glasses/cups in the Champagne and Black and White Coffee Bar outlets.

Tea and Coffee will be available from all outlets.

The Novotel is very experienced with accommodating dietary requirements, and we have arranged a variety of options to suit most people. Advice about ingredients and choices will be available from hotel staff at the convention.

Likewise, the Novotel is experienced with allergies, and staff understand the need for accurate information. Ingredients lists and advice will be available on request, and strict food handling processes are in place. However they do not have segregated kitchens, and cannot absolutely guarantee against cross-contamination. If you have any severe allergies and are concerned, please email venue@nineworlds.co.uk and we will put you in touch with the hotel catering staff. They can talk through their processes so that you can decide whether the food is safe for you.
