Urban fantasy author, podcast presenter
Author of the urban fantasy adventure series, The Grenshall Manor Chronicles (Oblivion Storm, Primal Storm and in production, Winter Storm), Russell A. Smith is a keen gamer and petrolhead. As well as writing, he enjoys a semi-regular presence on the Book Worm podcast on Fab Radio International.
Russell will be speaking on the Video Games, Dystopia and I Don’t See Race panels on the Race and Culture track.
He has enjoyed an eclectic career so far, with more interesting past jobs including editing newsletters and magazines, and spending some time as an educational Tudor soldier and time traveller. These days Russell spends a lot of time on tour across the UK investigating various houses and even more drinking tea.
