Socialising and meetups

The convention venue has bars, cafes, restaurants and outdoor terraces, perfect for relaxing and catching up with old friends and new acquaintances. Some of these spaces are public or in areas accessible to people with expo tickets, so will not be limited to just full convention attendees.

You can make good use of social media to seek out people to chat in informal meet-ups during the con. @ us in the tweet (@London_Geekfest) and we’ll signal boost it for you, provided it doesn’t fall outside our code of conduct. We'll also make a list here.

Our games usually involve some combination of talking to each other, moving around, laughing quite a bit, firing Nerf guns, being a little silly, wielding foam swords, wearing blindfolds, and much more! Costumes come with their own persona so why not take it a step further and roleplay? In this session you can play as your cosplay character in a low-rules, no numbers, non combat setting suitable for curious beginners and experienced larpers alike. 18+ due to potential language, flirting and pretend alcohol consumption.
