Sarah has been involved in HEMA since 2007, when her love of dance and of history and archaeology found unexpected common ground in historical swordfighting and martial arts. In that time she has studied rapier, sabre, smallsword, Bartitsu, and a few other weapons along the way. When she can find the time, she writes the odd bit of speculative fiction.
