Lydia Nicholas

bodies, data, culture

Lydia Nicholas is an anthropologist working in the places where biology and technology meet. She particularly likes following information as it moves from living things into laboratories and databases and wider culture, and uses stories and speculative design in the research thereof. She has studied synthetic biology labs, quantified self groups, various slices of big data, and is now at Nesta researching patient-led research networks.
