Samantha Kountz

Samantha Kountz is a fledgling film scholar/frustrated palaeontologist from Boynton Beach, Florida, USA studying for her MA in Film Studies at University of Kent in Canterbury as she clings to her cum laude BA in Film, Video, and New Media from Florida Atlantic University. Her study interests include representation in media, science-fiction/horror genre studies, Latin American cinema studies, and bursting the French New Wave bubble. Her favourite film is Jurassic Park, her favourite book is “Raptor Red”, and her favourite memory is learning that her Asperger’s Syndrome has nothing to do with having burgers in her trousers.
