Anne Charnock

foreign journalist, sci-fi novelist

Anne's writing career began in journalism and her reports appeared in New Scientist, The Guardian, Financial Times, International Herald Tribune and Geographical, among others. As a foreign correspondent he travelled widely in the Middle East, Africa and India, and she spent a year overlanding through Egypt, Sudan and Kenya with her husband.

Anne's debut novel, A Calculated Life, is published by 47 North, and was a finalist for both the Philip K. Dick Award and The Kitschies' Golden Tentacle.
